TYPES OF MEMBERS
Members shall be classified into and defined as:
Full Member
1. A Full Member shall be deemed to be a company that successfully meets the above-mentioned criteria at the time of application. Upon acceptance and approval of membership application by the Executive Committee, a Full Member may enjoy complete membership benefits including the use of CCAP name and identity logo.
Provisional Member
2. A Provisional Member shall be deemed to a company that does not meet the above-mentioned criteria at the time of application Full membership shall be granted only upon compliance with said criteria within six (6) months from date of application. If, however, the company fails to comply within the given period, the Executive Committee shall revoke the provisional membership including the benefits. The company may re-apply only after successfully meeting the said criteria. AV Provisional Member may enjoy membership benefits (see Annex A) excluding the use of CCAP name and identity logo.
Corporate Representatives
1. A Full Member can appoint a maximum of two (2) official representatives:
1.1. Principal Representative – must be a senior executive (e.g. COO, EVP, GM, MD), the Marketing/Sales Head or the Operations Head and must be involved in the planning, organizing and controlling functions of the contact center.
The Principal Representative may:
(a) Hold a position or office on the Executive Committee
(b) Attend and vote on matters arising at regular General Meetings
(c) Attend CCAP functions at a reduced cost.
(d) Access contact details of other representatives of members of the Association for the express purposes of member networking only. No commercial ventures may be introduced or transacted as a direct or indirect result of anyone accessing the contact details of representatives of Members unless requested by the Member.
1.2. Representative – must be an Officer of the contact center.
The Representative may:
(a) Hold a position or office on committees
(b) Attend regular General Meetings
(c) Attend and vote on matters arising at regular committee meetings
(d) Attend CCAP functions at a reduced cost
2. A Provisional Member can appoint a maximum of two (2) provisional representatives who must be a senior executive (e.g. COO, EVP, GM, MD), the Marketing / Sales Head or the Operations Head and must be involved in the planning, organizing and controlling functions of the contact center.
The Provisional Representative may:
(a) Attend regular General meetings
(b) Attend regular committee meetings
(c) Attend CCAP functions at a reduced cost
3. For committees formed other than the Executive Committee, a member can appoint a maximum of two (2) committee representatives per committee.
REQUIREMENTS
Membership to the Association shall be open to all companies operating a contact center. The contact center must first meet the following criteria that shall be the basis for determining eligibility of applicants for membership:
1. Must have contact center location and operations in the Philippines
2. Must be providing outsource voice, data and/or web-based contact center services
3. Must have a minimum of ten (10) active seats and a capacity of no less than fifty (50) seats
4. Must be able to provide inbound and/or outbound services
APPLICATION
1. The prospective member must submit the accomplished membership application with the following documents:
(a) SEC papers
(b) Company profile
(c) Brief description of maximum of 5 previous / current programs of the contact center
2. As soon as practicable after receipt of the membership application, the Membership Director shall refer the application to the Executive Committee.
3. Upon an application being referred to the Executive Committee, the Executive Committee shall determine if the classification of membership applied for is appropriate, and then, whether to approve or reject the application.
4. Upon an application being rejected by the Executive Committee, the Membership Director shall notify the applicant of the decision, stating reasons for the rejection, within 28 days of the date of the committee meeting.
5. Upon an application being accepted by the Executive Committee, the Membership Director shall notify the applicant of the decision, welcoming the new member, within 28 days of the date of the committee meeting. The Membership Director will also forward a Certificate of Membership with a copy of the rules of the association.
6. Upon an application being accepted by the Committee, the Membership Director shall enter the applicant’s details in the register of members’ database and, upon the name being so entered, the applicant becomes a member of the association.7. The new member before induction must pay the entrance fee and subscription fee for the applicable year.
